We are pleased to announce that for the seventh consecutive year, BayCoast Bank is sponsoring Westport Land Conservation Trust’s (WLCT) outreach and stewardship summer internship program. Started in 2015, the internship program provides professional opportunities for three young people beginning their careers in the environmental field. Successful candidates will have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide their own transportation.

WLCT is honored to partner with BayCoast Bank to continue the Outreach Stewardship Summer Internship Program. Our community is so lucky to have a bank who focuses on providing valuable professional opportunities for young people to learn, thrive and grow!

About the Position:

WLCT is seeking three motivated and task-oriented individuals to work closely with WLCT’s Outreach and Stewardship Coordinator in managing over 1,000 acres of land currently held by WLCT. As a growing organization, we are also looking to build a robust volunteer program. The successful candidates will track existing volunteers and aid in the recruitment of new volunteers. Additionally, the Outreach and Stewardship Interns will be responsible for coordinating projects related to stewardship and community engagement. The Outreach and Stewardship Interns report to WLCT’s Outreach and Stewardship Coordinator and work closely with volunteers and constituents to further the mission of WLCT.
