This Week of Thanks would not be complete without thanking all of you. Whether you donate, volunteer, hike our properties, attend our events or like us on Facebook – we appreciate you! It is the collective, positive action of many people in many different ways that has allowed Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) to celebrate so many successes throughout town. And we have so much to celebrate – from WLCT’s first property donation in 1973 (8 acres off of Route 88), to the protection of over 2,000 acres of working farmland, to WLCT’s latest and largest effort to date – Westport Woods Community Park. As staffer Brendan Buckless likes to say “You only save what you love, and you love what you know.” Thank you for knowing and loving Westport, and for working with WLCT to save its unique rural landscape!
