Habitats stretch beyond state lines. We’re working with our Rhode Island partners–Tiverton Land Trust, Tiverton Open Space Commission, Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust (LCACT), and others–to preserve strategic lands on the Westport/RI border.
We are currently working on two projects totaling 30+ acres of land abutting Westport Woods to expand access and preservation to the existing Westport Woods property.
In recent years, we completed a trail easement on Stateline Farm with LCACT to provide future access from Old Harbor Wildlife Refuge to RI preserved lands.
