Children’s Discovery Garden at Country Woolens

Visit Country Woolens and the Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) for some shopping and natural outdoor play. Browse or get a head start on your holiday lists, then head outside to explore an interactive display by the WLCT in support of its proposed Children’s Discovery Area. Children (and grown-ups!) can experience a sensory path made with materials found across Westport in nature, paint a pumpkin, and enjoy the fall weather. Country Woolens will be matching contributions made in support of the Children’s Discovery Area, to be installed at the Westport Woods Conservation Park. The event will be held at Country Woolens at 842 Main Road, on Saturday, October 12, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The sensory path display will remain available for children to explore until later in October.
