Family Tracking Hike

Looking for a fun family activity that gets you out in nature and keeps you active? Join us for our family tracking hike event and learn about the wildlife in our woods and how to track them!

During this active, family program with Mass Audubon and Westport Land Trust, we will explore Westport Woods Conservation Area in search of tracks and signs left behind by animals that otherwise remain hidden and what that information can tell scientists. This hike and family friendly activities will heighten our awareness and introduce us to the stories unfolding in the landscape. Animals are all around us, but many are stealthy, shy, and seldom seen. Tracks are a window into an otherwise hidden world of wild animals.
