On behalf of the Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT), I hope this message finds you well. In these unprecedented times I wanted to say thank you to YOU, our wonderful visitors, donors, volunteers, and fans. Your support over the last 48 years has protected so many valuable resources in Westport.

During this time of uncertainty, nature can be a refuge for us all. WLCT’s 15 miles of trails remain open for all to enjoy – within the current guidelines set by public officials.We have seen many of you outside safely enjoying our trails and open spaces. I encourage you to do so as much as you can. The outdoors provide a sense of tranquility and an opportunity to remain active. So, get outside to help boost your mental and physical health.

WLCT will continue to be here for you in our small way by maintaining these trails and providing safe alternatives to leave your home while practicing social distancing. We are especially grateful for the many folks who continue to serve the community during this time, whether it be healthcare professionals, public safety officials, and so many more.

While the WLCT office at Town Farm is closed to the public for the near future, we are still available to answer inquiries by phone or email. We love hearing from you, so do not hesitate to reach out. As further updates are released, we will adhere to all guidelines and mandates from public health officials.

This is a challenging start to 2020, and WLCT will continue our work to provide special outdoor places to visit and enjoy!
