Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) in partnership with the Westport Free Public Library are proud to present a new outdoor adventure that promotes family connection and early childhood development.

Starting February 25th, families are invited on this self-guided winter storybook walk featuring Owl Moon by Jane Yolen at Noquochoke Conservation Area (421 Pine Hill Road). Illustrated by John Schoenherr, Owl Moon is a celebrated picture book about a little girl and a father who go owling on a late winter night. Pages from the story will be posted at stations along the Noquochoke Conservation Area trail, allowing families and friends to enjoy a good story while exploring one of Westport’s best known natural areas.
