The Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) would like to thank the Massachusetts Waterfowlers, Inc. for their generous gift of $20,000 to the Santos Farm Conservation Project and corresponding Herb Hadfield Conservation Area expansion. Founded to protect and preserve waterfowl and other wild fowl, the Massachusetts Waterfowlers, Inc. promotes, educates and trains the public in the protection and preservation of waterfowl and other wild fowl habitat. This is the third grant Massachusetts Waterfowlers, Inc. has awarded to the WLCT for local land preservation initiatives in Westport. Previous grant awards were directed towards the Herb Hadfield Conservation Area and Headwaters Conservation Area respectively.
WLCT is pleased to once again partner with the Massachusetts Waterfowlers, Inc. to expand opportunities for local sportsmen and women. This collaboration is a win-win for hunters, anglers and wildlife conservationists.
