Jean Maguire is one of WLCT’s most dedicated Trail Team members. She’s the daughter of a Wrentham farm family with a true blue passion for burning brush. We are so grateful for Jean’s good spirit and good humor every Tuesday.
1) How did you get involved with the Tuesday Trail Team?
“I volunteered for WLCT for eight years mostly helping with events. When I retired two years ago I was able to add the trail team.”
2) What do you enjoy most about working on the Trail Team?
“Everything! I enjoy seeing my fellow trail team members each week. I have been to places in Westport that I never would have found on my own. I learn something new each week and have met some amazing people and dogs on the trails.”
3)Which is your favorite Westport Land Conservation Trust property?
“That is a tough question but I would have to say Westport Woods. It is such a diverse property that has something for everyone to enjoy”
