We are saddened by the passing of Arthur Parker, a longtime friend, volunteer, and former board member of WLCT. Arthur most recently served on WLCT’s 1,000-Acre Campaign Committee, where he helped us raise over $15 million and preserve 1,000 acres from 2016 through 2021. Arthur was also a board member for nine years, and an ardent supporter of the Westport Town Farm. The Town Farm was one of Arthur’s favorite places in Westport, where he enjoyed many walks with his family and dogs over the years. We will miss his enthusiasm, humor, positive energy and dedication. His commitment to preserving Westport’s rural landscapes leaves a lasting legacy for our community, and for that we at WLCT are very grateful.
