WLCT Offices, 573 Adamsville Road

The Westport Land Conservation Trust, Inc. will hold its 50th Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 19th at 5:30pm at Westport Woods Conservation Park (573 Adamsville Road). The meeting will start with a 50th anniversary reflection by Trip Millikin and will be followed by a preview of the next five years from WLCT’s new strategic plan by Tina Schmid.

The business meeting will begin at approximately 6pm with reports from the President, Treasurer and Executive Director. Upon the completion of the President’s Report, WLCT will take a moment to recognize the service of outgoing President, Trip Millikin. The WLCT Governance Committee will then present three returning at-large candidates to the Board of Directors and a proposed amendment to the Articles of the Organization. The business meeting will conclude with a recognition of WLCT volunteers lost in the past year. In addition, the WLCT Board of Directors will hold a brief meeting to elect officers for the coming year.

After the meeting, there will be light refreshments available and attendees are welcome to visit the new WLCT office- opening to the public for the first time after completed renovation. Explore the new learning center, the WLCT offices and library, and the completed Children’s Discovery Garden.

The Annual Meeting will be held rain or shine under a tent. All are welcome to attend, but only members will be allowed to vote during the business meeting.
