The Westport Land Conservation Trust, Inc. will hold its 51st Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 18th at 5:30pm at the Westport Grange (931 Main Road)
The business meeting will begin at approximately 5:45pm with reports from the President, Executive Director, and Treasurer. The meeting will start with a reflection on the previous years’ work including:
- Berry Hill Farm Preservation
- Expansion of Westport Woods
- New accessible pathway at Westport Woods
- 50th Anniversary Campaign highlights
- Staff transitions
After a reflection on the past year, we will preview the upcoming year, including:
- Strategic plan highlights
- Current land preservation projects
- Stewardship projects
- New land connection initiatives
The WLCT Governance Committee will present three at-large candidates to the Board of Directors for membership consideration and recognize outgoing committee members. The three at-large candidates can be found below on the proxy form.
Our business meeting will conclude with a recognition of WLCT members lost in the past year.
In addition, the WLCT Board of Directors will hold a brief meeting to elect officers for the coming year.
We’ll conclude with light refreshments and time to socialize. All are welcome to attend, however only WLCT members may vote. Please RSVP to ross@westportlandtrust.org
