We work with Amazing volunteers
Our Tuesday Trail Team meet each week (on Tuesdays) to clear trails, cut brush, plant literally hundreds of plant plugs, weed gardens…you name it, Trail Team will show up and get it done!
Our office volunteers are also terrific. From filling envelopes to filing paperwork to organizing over 80 land use binders, office volunteers step in and step up when we need them most.

Lunch and Learn
This year our annual cookout was preceded by an orientation to the newly installed rain garden on the carriage path and other storm water mitigation at Westport Woods.
Volunteers were then able to walk the spot of a new trail on the north side of Westport Woods–a trail they will be building as the fall and winter progresses!
Westport Land Conservation Trust is able to steward the land in our care and provide high quality experiences for visitors thanks to our fantastic volunteers. We could not do what we do without you!
