Thank You, WLCT Volunteers!

WLCT’s volunteers have real impact! Volunteers bring a wider perspective to our governance, and their expertise, encouragement, and willingness to dig in moves us closer to our mission: to preserve the habitats and landscapes that make Westport unique and to reach and teach the next generation of conservationists.

Interested in Volunteering?

Tuesday Trail Team meets Tuesdays at 9 am. We welcome all volunteers who are want to help maintain property trails, fight invasives, plant natives, and have a good time! Please contact Land Steward Nate McCullin.

Share Your Knowledge: Are amphibians just your thing? Do you love to catch a bird on the wing? Interested in getting outside? We are always looking for citizen scientists and naturalists to help us lead public programs or to act as Learning Center naturalist ambassadors. Contact Community Connections Coordinator Aaron Teixeira with your interest!

Office Expertise: We need occasional office help: printing, organizing mailings or files, etc. If you have expertise in communications, web design, or graphics, or a different technical skill, we would love to grow our communications volunteers! Please contact Development and Communications Coordinator Charlotte Greeson.

Volunteers are our best ambassadors! Folks who volunteer understand our mission and are ready to act on it. We could not be more grateful.
