TRAIL EXPLORERS: Birds at Herb’s

Avian migration season may be behind us, but that doesn’t mean that the birds have gone anywhere! Herb Hadfield Conservation Area is a treasured wildlife refuge with a rich amount of biodiversity, and a key hotspot for a number of bird species. Join WLCT staff as explore the trails of this conservation area in search of some of the spring and summer inhabitants of the area, included Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Scarlet Tanager, flycatchers and others. A handy field guide, sturdy set of binoculars, a bottle of water and some good walking shoes will keep you going as we search the property for signs of birdlife.

Please use the Cornell Road entrance, as it can accommodate a greater number of vehicles. We will be meeting at the trailhead.
