Mid-Morning Story Hour: We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
Westport Woods’ long, wavy grass (but hopefully no snowstorms or bears!) will help us experience our own Bear Hunt, after we read Michael Rosen & Helen Oxenbury’s classic tale of adventure.
Parking:
• Park at the Westport Woods parking lot
What to Wear & Bring:
• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water
• Curiosity and imagination!
What to Expect:
• Story hour in the Learning Center
• A short walk through the Children’s Discovery Garden following our read-along
• Less than 1 mile in length
• Minimal incline
Restrictions:
• No pets
• Limit 15 participants
