All About Rain Gardens
We all have those parts of our properties that collect rain runoff–from the roof, driveway, or street. Planted with grasses and perennials, a rain garden helps the soil soak up excess water, preventing erosion and filtering pollutants.
WLCT’s summer intern, Nellie Harvey, recently built a rain garden at Westport Woods and will talk about her work at this evening presentation.
Please join us Thursday August 3rd at 5:30 for a brief presentation and visit to the new rain garden!
