Bats Before Bedtime
Join us as we gather at the Learning Center to learn about our winged mammalian friends! We’ll do a short craft (suitable for children; toddlers will require some help) with a little lesson on the bats of our area.
If weather allows, we’ll then take a little evening stroll along the edges of the meadow and watch for local bats! We will meet about twenty minutes before sunset to have our brief overview of the natural history and life of these fascinating creatures, and plan for a short walk around and just after sunset.
