Dazzled By Dragonflies
Members of the Odonata order of insects (including dragonflies and damselflies) are a fascinating bunch of creatures, and constitute a hugely important part of a healthy ecosystem.
Join WLCT staff as we observe these interesting insects at work in the meadows of Westport Woods Conservation Park; we will try and identify as many species of dragonflies as we can, while enjoying the sights and sounds of the late summer evening in the park.
We will meet by the farmhouse at Westport Woods (573 Adamsville Road) and depart from there at 6:00pm. Bring along a camera, a pair of binoculars, and a comfortable pair of walking shoes.
