Evening Owl Prowl with the Paskamansett Bird Club

Have you ever gone owling guided by the light of the moon?

Perhaps you’ve glimpsed the shadowy form of a Great-horned Owl in the beam of your headlights as you traveled a back road at night. On Monday evening, October 7th, you are invited to join Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) and Paskamansett Bird Club President, Lauren Miller-Donnelly, for our annual owl prowl through the woods and wetlands of the 188-acre Herb Hadfield Conservation Area (255 Cornell Road). Your prowl will begin with learning about the habitats, behaviors and language of these amazing predators.

This walk is free and open to the public, but space is limited. To RSVP, please email Brendan@WestportLandTrust.org. Participants are asked to meet at the parking area located at 255 Cornell Road for 6 pm sharp. Don’t be late!
