Exploring the Pond Habitat at Westport Wood

Come and take a special hike out to the freshwater pond at the edge of our Westport Woods property! This quarry pond is a rich, valuable habitat that provides the keys to survival for a variety of wildlife, from amphibians below to ospreys above.

Join a WLCT naturalist as we look for signs of interesting insects, late-season frogs, and perhaps even the elusive otters that have been known to pass through.
