Flower Power: Seed Starting Fun for Kids
Tap into the season of gardening! This youth-oriented workshop will introduce young gardeners to starting flowers from seed.
We will be working with compostable seed trays and starting wildflowers from seed. Come out and take advantage of this opportunity to introduce your young gardeners to the world of plant cultivation in a beautiful space.
Who is this event for:
• For young gardeners, ages 10 and up. Younger children are welcome, but an adult will have to provide hands-on assistance.
What to Wear & Bring:
• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
We will be working indoors, and tools will be provided.
What to Expect:
• This workshop will be about one hour in length.
Parking:
• Please park in the parking lot at Westport Woods.
Restrictions:
• No pets
• Limit 15 participants
