Garden Design for the Homeowner

Land Steward Nate McCullin teaches a 3-part course (Jan 18, Feb 1, Feb 15) for the active gardener interested in designing their own gardens.

Throughout the series, you’ll learn various aspects of garden design, using the footprint around Westport Woods as an example of how to create base plans, create plant lists, draw bedlines, understand scale, bloom calendars, maintenance plans, and more.

Learners will complete their own garden plan by the end of the course.

Register for this exciting three-part course via our Eventbrite page. Space is limited to 10, cost includes materials.

Please note: This series takes place over the course of three classes: January 18, February 1, and February 15 with assignments to complete on off weeks.

No matter the size or scale of your outdoor palette, this series will provide valuable insights to make the most of your space. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn, connect with fellow gardeners, and unleash your creativity!
