Mid-Morning Story Hour
Join us for a reading of Kate Messner’s Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt in the Learning Center as we watch the plants and trees grow into the summer. We will read this colorful story, before heading into the garden to see what’s blooming. This is a great program for toddlers and young children: join us at Westport Woods (573 Adamsville Road) on Tuesday, July 1 at 10:00am for this morning story.
Parking:
• Park at the Westport Woods parking lot
What to Wear & Bring:
• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water
• Curiosity and imagination!
What to Expect:
• Story hour in the Learning Center
• A short walk through the Children’s Discovery Garden following our read-along
• Less than 1 mile in length
• Minimal incline
Restrictions:
• No pets
• Limit 15 participants
