Full Moon Walk: Moths and the Harvest Moon

Join WLCT staff as we take a stroll under October’s Harvest Moon. As we descend more deeply into the chillier season, we’ll take advantage of the first full moon of autumn to explore the nightscape of Westport, and search out signs of nocturnal life. For this full moon hike, we’ll turn down the lights and let the moon be our guide. While we hike, we’ll set up a lightsheet to attract moths and see what species of night pollinators are visiting Westport Woods!
