Osprey Monitoring Lecture
We invite you to join us at Westport Woods for a chat with Matt Zucconi, volunteer coordinator for Mass Audubon’s Osprey monitoring project on the Westport River. Matt will review the protocol for the official monitoring project of our most emblematic of raptors on the South Coast. Attendees will learn about the migratory cycle of the Osprey, their seasonal arrival in coastal communities like Westport, and how organizations like Mass Audubon designate, delegate, and execute the monitoring of nesting habitats of the fish hawk.
