Pollinators Pop Up Tent
School is out and Summer has started! Don’t stop learning just yet, come check out WLCT’s Pop Up Nature Activity Tent highlighting the importance of pollinators in our ecosystems, and strategies to improve their habitats. Learn fun and practical information about bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. The tent will provide interactive learning materials for gardeners and nature enthusiasts of all ages.
The activity tent will be set up at Mill Pond Conservation Area (62 Reed Road) within view of the parking lot. It will be set up from June 20th-26th and open to all visitors on site. Explore on your own, or stop by when staff are there to deepen your knowledge. Staff will be available Tuesday, June 21th 10am-1pm, Thursday, June 23th 10am-1pm and Friday, June 24 10am-1pm.
