Gourd Growers: Seed Starting for Adult Gardeners
Unleash your inner gardener! This workshop is an opportunity to get your hands dirty and learn the secrets to starting plants from seed.
We will be working with compostable seed trays and starting some summer gourds. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a pale-green thumb, you’ll build the knowledge and confidence to nurture these plants from seed to full-grown squash.
Who is this event for:
• For adult gardeners, from beginning-level to seasoned garden expert.
What to Wear & Bring:
• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
We will be working indoors, and tools will be provided.
What to Expect:
• This workshop will be about one hour in length.
Parking:
• Please park in the parking lot at Westport Woods.
Restrictions:
• No pets
• Limit 15 participants
