Pruning Workshop: Professional Approaches to Ornamental Tree and Shrub Care
Land Steward Nate McCullin will teach this 2-hour class, Thursday March 21st, 1-3pm. Topics will include proper pruning techniques, soil health and fertilization, as well as disease and insect identification and control.
Participants should be prepared for indoor learning time and outdoor practice. Please wear appropriate work clothing and bring gloves, hand pruners, and a folding saw if you have one.
Class is limited to 12 students.
We recommend the Felco Model 2 Hand Pruner and the Felco 6″ Folding Pruning Saw. Both should be available at Peckham’s Greenhouse.
