Summer Concert with Seth Glier
Save the date! On Saturday, August 15th the Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) is pleased to present their 13th annual Summer Concert via video! The goal of the concert has long been to support the work of the Westport Land Conservation Trust; a non-profit organization that has worked since 1972 to acquire and preserve natural resources, farmland, and wildlife areas in Westport for the use and enjoyment of future generations.
While an in-person outdoor concert was not able to happen this summer due to Covid-19, a complete recording of the concert program will be released at 5:30 pm on the evening of August 15th. The recording will be available free of charge for all to enjoy on the WLCT website, YouTube page, and social media platforms.
Grammy-nominated Seth Glier is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. NPR describes his voice as “otherworldly” while praising him as “an engaging performer and storyteller.” His critically acclaimed, emotionally dense catalog of work often draws upon traditional roots music, experimental instrumentation, and moody atmospheres that result in soulfully intelligent stories that can alternatively fight the power or break your heart.
