Trail Explorers: A Wildflower Photographic Foray

Our Trail Explorers series continues as we shine a light on the Herb Hadfield Conservation Area in June! Join us for a trailside talk and then embark on a search through the meadows and trails for mountain laurels, lupines and other June blooms. A careful and thorough exploration along the way may even turn up some unusual and showy wildflowers that are known to be found in these parts.

We’ll begin with a chat at the trailhead led by veteran photographer Greg Stone, discussing techniques for photography, which species are in bloom at this time and where they might be found, before heading out on our search!

Bring your optics, photography gear, a comfortable pair of shoes and some water.
