TRAIL EXPLORERS: Exploring Headwaters Conservation Area

Our Trail Explorers series shines a spotlight on both the Noquochoke Conservation Area and the Headwaters Conservation Area in August!

On this trip, we’ll explore Headwaters Conservation Area. This property lies around the headwaters of Bread and Cheese Brook, a cold water stream that serves as an important habitat for native brook trout. Aside from trout, many aquatic species inhabit the brook, among them crayfish and American eel. The trail runs parallel to the brook and passes through pines and hardwoods, and houses many species of bird.

We hope you can join us for this late August walk! Register here!
