Walking As Learning to See

The Westport Cultural Council is pleased to announce its first of three summer Artists in Residence Program Workshops. On June 18th and June 19th, artist in residence Roberley Bell will host Walking As Learning to See.

Walking As Learning to See heightens our awareness of seeing with all our senses. The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with a method for learning to see the world around them through their senses. What does the place sound like, smell like, taste like? How do you know where you are? Vision is our primary sense. How do we dive deeper into seeing?

You are invited to participate in Roberley Bell’s artist workshops on June 18th and 19th from 10 AM to noon at Westport Woods Conservation Park. The workshop on the 19th is oriented towards families, the workshop on the 18th towards adults.

You must sign up in advance to participate. Space is limited. Reserve your space here: https://westportlandconservationtrust.salsalabs.org/walking-as-learning-to-see
