Wings of a Hawk: Raptor Migration Walk & Talk
Join us as we celebrate the season of raptor migration, and scan the skies for these majestic departing species.
The end of summer and beginning of autumn marks a transitional period for hawks, falcons and the charismatic birds of prey that make the South Coast their home. During this trek at Herb Hadfield, we will talk about the waves of departing migrants, how the change of seasons causes a change in their behavior and patterns, and when they’ll return.
