Mill Pond Conservation Area

Mill Pond Conservation Area provides a unique experience among our Destination Properties.

62 Reed Road • 8 acres • 0.25 miles of trails

Mill Pond Conservation Area provides a unique visitor exper- ience. An orchard adjacent to the parking lot was established by volunteers in 2015. When these trees mature, they will provide holistically grown apples, peaches and pears for visitors. A trail winds through the orchard, providing a beautiful outdoor experience that includes ample open space for gathering. An additional trail climbs a small ridge behind the meadow and drops down to the bank of the Westport River. Remnants of an old mill dam are a popular attraction. This land was generously donated by Dorothy Sang in 2007.
