The Westport Artist in Residence Program

The Westport Artist in Residence Program at the Westport Woods Conservation Park will take place during the months of June, July and August of 2021 and consist of three one month long art residencies.

The three Artists; Roberley Bell, Matt Magee, and Andy Moerlein; will provide live access for the public to view their work in progress during their month-long stay. Allowances will be made for social distancing in compliance with current government Covid-19 public health guidelines.

The three Artists will be asked to create an outdoor sculpture during their residency for installation on the Westport Woods Conservation Park premises.

The three Artists will offer workshops for individuals during their stay and hold a closing event highlighting their new work.

Westport Land Conservation Trust would like to thank local Westport artist, Merri Cyr, for curating the Westport Artist in Residence Program. The program is made possible by support from the Westport Cultural Council and a grant from the Helen Ellis Charitable Trust.
