The Let Conservation Area is truly unique. The only public access is by water from the East Branch of the Westport River. This forested preserve boasts wide smooth trails for much of their distance as they traverse the interior of this property. The landing is at a granite knob and adjacent salt marsh that provide a great picnic spot, excellent salt marsh bird watching, and beautiful westerly and southerly views of Horseneck Channel and the East Branch. This stunning riverfront property was protected and made possible by a land gift from Barbara Schildkrout and Elliot Schildkrout, and with support from the North American Wetland Conservation Act Program, and private donors.

Directions: Located on the east side of the river between The Let and Horseneck Channel. Look for the WLCT sign strategically located on the tip of the rock landing.
