Forge Pond Conservation Area

Forge Pond Conservation Area provides easy and scenic access for walkers and fisherman to the banks of Forge Pond.

Forge Pond Conservation Area is nestled between Forge Pond Road and Reed Road.  The pond itself is owned by the City of Fall River Water Department, but the FPCA trails and parking lot provide popular ways for fisherman to access the pond and for hikers to access the hiking trail system.  Trails run along the north side of the pond and then extend along the north side of the beautiful Noquochoke River that feeds the pond, connecting to Town land to the east. Protection of this property was made possible by funding from the Westport Land Conservation Partnership and the Town’s taxpayer-supported Community Preservation Fund.
