Who is this for:
- This community hike is a low-stakes event geared towards birders of all skill levels, and is a wonderful way to get into the habit of regular, year-round birding
What to wear & bring:
- Binoculars
- Field guide (or just your phone and the Merlin Bird ID app)
- Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Bug spray
- Water
What to expect:
- Approximately 1.5 mile in length
- Minimal incline
- Ground can be wet, with some exposed roots
Restrictions
- No pets
- Limit 15 participants
Parking:
- Park at the Westport Woods parking lot
