Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT) and Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) partner to host Spooky Walk!
On Friday, October 23 at 5:30pm, Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT) and Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) invite you to join them on an eerie family adventure (suggested ages 8 & up) at Frank Knowles/Little River Reserve on Potomska Road in Dartmouth. Walk through the dark woods with a guide to an old house foundation where Jackson Gillman, locally renowned storyteller, will tell some ghost stories around a fire. The event is free but you must Register Here!
The walk will begin at the Frank Knowles/Little River Reserve parking lot on the east side of Potomska Road, 0.7 miles south of the intersection of Potomska and Rock O’Dundee Roads and lasting approximately 2 hours. Costumes are welcome, but not necessary. Wear clothing that won’t caught underfoot or on branches during the walk. Bring your flashlights and dress warmly as we will be walking back to the parking lot in the dark. There may even be a few “ghostly” surprises along the trail!.

About WLCT
In 1972, recognizing the vital importance of Westport’s natural resources, and the need for community involvement in preserving them, a group of local residents formed the Westport Land Conservation Trust. Since then, the Land Trust has joined the efforts of various Town and State agencies to help many Westport property owners protect their land in keeping with its simple mission: To acquire and preserve natural resources, farmland and wildlife areas for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations; to preserve and protect historic sites; to educate the public about the wise use of natural resources; and to work with other organizations having similar purpose.
