Clear Trails Ahead

A Shoutout to the Tuesday Trail Team Volunteers

When you head out on one of our trails, we want you to have a great time. We strive for a high-quality experience for anyone who steps foot on one of our properties, returning again…and telling a friend. With 25+ miles of trails and more than 1,800 acres of publicly-accessible acres, including a community park, maintaining quality and access is no small task.

Peerless Trail Team

Our volunteers are instrumental when it comes to maintaining trails and we can’t thank them enough. The Tuesday Trail Team is extraordinary and we are grateful for all their hard work. Almost every Tuesday, rain or shine, heat or cold they are out there pruning back the trails and removing debris so that visitors can traverse the properties with ease.

We have high standards because we know that ease matters to our visitors. We aim to maintain wide widths with plenty of space overhead. This allows for visitors to easily pass each other, friends to walk side by side, and also have plenty of room for some of our most popular visitors–dogs.

With ticks always a concern, the wide widths and short grass help keep them at bay, even when in the middle of the woods or meadow. Maintaining the trails is like painting a bridge, by the time you get to the end it is time to start back at the beginning.

The Tuesday Trail Team crew is always up for the task and are there when you need them. This is a special thanks to all our volunteers who help keep our trails open and clear. If you would like to join the Tuesday Trail Team please click here to sign up.
