About Westport Land Conservation Trust

Ross became the WLCT executive director in 2017. He spent the first decade of his career managing culture landscapes for The Trustees and prior to that curating parks for the city of New Bedford. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut who enjoys spending time with his three young daughters and coaching youth soccer.

Pam is a lifelong Westporter and loves this town. She has extensive management experience and brings that organization and teamwork to the WLCT office. She manages the office including the accounting, fundraising, events and much more. She lives in Westport, on the beautiful west branch, with her family.

Nate McCullin grew up in a farming community in Southeastern Pennsylvania which is where his passion for the outdoors began. Summer jobs on local farms sparked an interest in working with plants which led him to study Horticulture and Plant Sciences at the University of Delaware. While attending the University of Delaware, Nate quickly realized the study of native plants and their important role in the health of our ecosystems was his passion.

After graduating Nate completed an internship at The Native Plant Trust’s Garden in the Woods located in Framingham, MA. This internship led to a full time position which permanently positioned Nate as an Ecological Horticulturalist in New England. He has since worked on many different facets of horticulture including ecological restoration projects, designing and building native plant gardens, and most recently overseeing one of the largest pollinator gardens in Rhode Island on a private estate in Jamestown. His passion for plants and people led him to the Westport Land Conservation Trust.

Charlotte Hand Greeson (she/her) comes to WLCT after 10 years in grant coordination and strategic communications for the Episcopal Church. Westport’s rivers and farms have always had a place in her heart, having spent her childhood summers scrambling up the Knubble and sailing on the West Branch.

Charlotte received her Bachelor’s in Early American History from Bryn Mawr College and a Masters of Nonprofit Management from University of Central Florida. She likes nothing more than to ramble in the woods.

Early in her career, Charlotte was an environmental educator at Garden in the Woods, Framingham, MA and in Santa Monica, CA. After 25 years of frequent Navy moves, Charlotte settled at the Head in 2022. She’s thrilled to integrate her fundraising and communications background with her love of Westport’s rivers, woods, and farmlands.

Charlotte sees her role with WLCT as building connections and partnerships with the land and the people of Westport. She’s looking forward to helping the Land Trust tell the land’s story and preserve it for future generations.

Aaron Teixeira comes to Westport as an AmeriCorps alum, former Appalachian Mountain Club hut naturalist, and a lifelong nature enthusiast. Studying environmental sustainability at UMass Boston, Aaron became aware of concepts around environmental justice and sustainability science, as well as honing skills in science communications. He is a native Rhode Islander, currently residing in Providence with his wife and two well-adjusted cats.

Elizabeth has been our part time Office Assistant since January of 2012. She graduated in May 2014 from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geology and brings a lifetime of love for the environment to WLCT. Liz helps send out mailings, organize property files and assists in projects and events that arise throughout the year. Her future career goal is to work in water conservation related to wetlands.

Greg Stone has loved photography since the day as a 13-year old, when he stepped out of his door with his older brother’s Brownie Hawkeye camera and took pictures as Hurricane Carol raged, pushing the Barrington River onto his front yard. He sold sets of prints of those pictures to neighbors and bought a real camera. By profession he’s a writer, by love he’s a photographer.
